  • How is Habitat Young Professionals of Dane County supported?

Habitat Young Professionals of Dane County is supported entirely through generous donations by individuals, groups, and businesses.

  • What will my donation be used for?

As an all volunteer organization, HYP has very minimal operatings costs. The vast majority of all donations go directly towards helping to build simple, decent, and affordable housing in Dane County through a home sponsorship with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County.   • Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes! All donations to Habitat Young Professionals of Dane County are tax deductible through Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. We send letters certifying your donations for tax purposes automatically.

  • Is it safe and secure for me to donate online?

Absolutely! Our website and our payment collection system are both secured with SSL encryption.

  • Can I donate by mail?

  • Are there other ways for me to donate?

We are always looking for donations of time, materials, and talents. Construction materials can be donated to the Habitat ReStore. For other ways to donate to HYP please contact the HYP Chair.

Your information will not be shared outside of HYP and Habitat for Humanity of Dane County (for tax purposes).
