HYP Chair - Whitney Drewsen

Bio: Whitney is a proud Madison native. She attended the University of St. Thomas where she graduated with a double major in Financial Management and Economics. Whitney currently works as a Project Manager in Madison. She became involved in Habitat for Humanity after graduation when she volunteered for 4 months on a HFHDC build site. In 2011, she became actively involved in HYP and was elected the Volunteer Chair. In 2013 she became the Events Chair and in 2014 was elected as HYP President. She enjoys working on build days, meeting new people, and helping HYP grow. Outside of HYP, Whitney enjoys relaxing in the North Woods, Badger sporting events, reading and spending time with her dog.



Secretary - Cory Salzmann

Bio: Cory grew up just north of Madison in DeForest, WI.  He attended UW-Whitewater, where he received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting.  Cory is currently working as a Staff Accountant at Smith & Gesteland, LLP.  He became involved with Habitat while in college at UW-Whitewater, where he participated in build days, Collegiate Challenge trips during spring break, and fundraisers.  After beginning his career, he became involved in HYP once he learned his coworker was on the board, and became the Secretary in 2016.  In his free time, Cory enjoys golfing, downhill skiing, and watching Wisconsin sports



Finance Chair - Danelle Sutter

Bio: Danelle Sutter is from Blue Mounds, WI. She graduated UW-Whitewater with a double major in Accounting and Entrepreneurship, and now works for Smith & Gesteland, LLP as a Staff Accountant. Although Danelle is new to HYP, she is excited to meet new people and give to those in need at build days!  



Volunteer Co-Chair - Amanda Winters

Bio: Amanda grew up in Green Bay, WI and thus bleeds green and gold. Seriously, they throw you out of the city if you don't. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2011 with a degree in Civil Engineering, and now works for Ayres Associates doing roadway design. She participated in various Habitat for Humanity build days with school groups throughout her life, but only discovered HYP after graduating college. She was looking for a great group of people to network with, and is always game to help a good cause, so HYP was the perfect fit! She is very grateful to for all the friends and experiences over the past 2 years. Outside of HYP, she loves traveling, sports, board games, cards games, winter games....pretty much any kind of activity that involves a strategy, a winner, and/or running around.

Bio: Cory is from the small town of Orfordville. He attended UW-Madison where he majored in Civil Engineering and was a member of the marching band. He currently works as a project engineer at EMCS, Inc. Cory first became involved in HYP in 2012 after moving back to Madison when his company opened up a new office. Cory became more involved in HYP over the last couple of years, attending social hours and build days, and eventually became the volunteer chair late in 2014. He enjoys meeting new members, working on build days, and bringing people together to help out a great cause. Outside of HYP, Cory enjoys golfing, watching the Badgers, reading, and hunting.

Bio: Alison is a Madison area native. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2012 with a Bachelors in Science, with a focus of Entomology. After getting her degree in her hobby, she decided it was time to make a career choice and joined her mother, JoAnn, a Realtor of 25 years. Alison has helped JoAnn surpass their real estate goals for 3 years and running. 
Alison loves going to build days to help give to those in need, and to increase her knowledge of how homes are built, to better educate her clients. She also loves meeting and getting to know new people who have big hearts and also want to give to the community! Outside of HYP, Alison loves working out, listening to live music, traveling, and playing ultimate frisbee.

Bio: David DeGuire grew up in Wauwatosa, WI. He received a bachelor's in teaching German from Marquette University, and a Master's in Elementary Education from Syracuse. David now works for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  When not at a HYP event, David is usually playing or watching soccer.
